Another fabulous release from the Doorly’s rum range! Doorly’s 14-Year-Old is a blend of pot and column still rum produced at the Foursquare distillery in Barbados. The spirit has been aged predominantly in bourbon casks, along with a portion aged in Madeira casks, imparting a touch of sweetness.
Loads of spices straight off the bat, namely ginger and oak, fading into Madeira sweetness and dark chocolate orange, along with jammy berries. Spices reappear on the finish with the addition of cinnamon, and a touch of char.
