Fragrant and fresh on the nose with some red cherry and plum as well as darker berries. Refreshing and pure, with plenty of perfume again. Silky style of fruit on the palate then a lifted mineral finish. A great buy this vintage.
Layers of sinewy tannins and eucalyptus spice. Opens to show baked earth, tobacco leaf and liquorice, cassis fruits laced with espresso, edges of campfire, a good quality wine that has concentration without strangling.
