2019 Moulin de La Lagune, Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux, France

A second wine with real pedigree, produced from the young vines of 3rd Classed Growth Château La Lagune in the Haut-Médoc, farmed biodynamically and forming part of a project to develop a rich and diverse ecosystem within the estate. The ripe, intensely aromatic dark fruit has been tamed by 12 months aging in French oak barrels (40% new), tannins are supple, and the finish is long with a balancing and savoury freshness.
